Jack is a firm believer in “keeping a horse, a horse.” By working with the horses as an individual, Jack is able to determine the most appropriate method and speed of training for a horse. Jack is also available to discuss if a particular horse is suited for the discipline that you want the horses to excel at. Horses are just like people and although you may want the horse to excel in a particular discipline, they may be happier and more successful in another area.

 From his own experience of receiving horses that were “ruined”, soured” or “blown up”, Jack has been very successful in bringing those horses back into the competition arena. The time that it takes to recuperate a horse is not set and may take a month or 6 months.  In the process, Jack takes the time to get to know the horse and the rider, with the goal being to get the horse back in the right direction and to teach the owner/rider how to manage the horse in future training and competition.
